The National weather service is reporting that there is an Enhanced Risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon, through tonight generally west of Interstate 35 and a slighter risk, to the east into west central Wisconsin. Large hail and damaging
winds are possible with the line of strong thunderstorms that is
expected to march east across the area. A tornado or two cannot be
ruled out either, especially in the enhanced risk area over west

afternoon across southern Minnesota.
Xcel energy reported around 400 outage calls in the Faribault area Monday afternoon. That number is down to about 70 as of this morning. Around the metro area there are about 2300 outages that the company is still working on.
