Here’s a ‘super’ event on Super Sunday. The Minnesota Children’s Museum Rochester’s Cardboard Sled Race takes place at the Rochester Golf & Country Club on February 7th. It’s another fun Rochester Winterfest event.

Contestants of all ages are invited to bring an already constructed sled to race and be judged. Registration begins at 12:30 pm. Event runs 1 – 3 pm. Sleds must be ready to be judged and raced promptly at 1 pm. Activities and food will available inside.

Cost is $15 per sled. Pre-registration required by calling 507-258-3100 or online at rochester.mcm.org.

Come watch the race and cheer on your favorite sled from the warmth and comfort of the indoor viewing area. Refreshments are available including hot cocoa and cookies. For more information and details on what supplies can be used to build your sled, visit rochester.mcm.org
