After a disappointing 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins last night, the Wild are not scheduled to play tonight. Nino Niederreiter scored the Wild's only goal in last night's defeat, short-handed during the third period. It was Niederreiter's fourth of the season.

Last night's home loss saw the Wild's record drop to 7-4-0, and their total of 14 points has them currently in fifth place in the Western Conference's Central Division. Pittsburgh improved to 8-2-1 and currently occupies the top spot in the Eastern Conference's Metropolitan Division.

The Wild will resume play Thursday night in Ottawa.
