The Destination Medical Center Corporation Board met today and reviewed a revised timeline for adopting the development plan that will serve as the roadmap for transforming Rochester into a world-class destination for medical care. The revised schedule calls for the DMCC Board to formally adopt the development plan next February after the document is brought to the Rochester City Council for a vote. The community should have a pretty good idea of what will likely be included in the development plan by late September when the DMCC Board is scheduled to take up the final conceptual plan. The revised timeline includes a series of public forums and hearings beginning next month, while a formal public hearing process will begin 60 days before the development plan is scheduled for adoption. The DMCC Board also voted today to elect former Minneapolis Mayor RT Rybak as the vice-chair of the organization.
