Final Thoughts on Vikings 2016 NFL Draft
Who should the Vikings draft in the first round?
That's what every NFL team is selling this time of year as draft time looms over the start of another season.
Coming off an NFC North Division Championship against the hated Packers, the Vikings are primed for a repeat performance... but first, it's GM Rick Spielman's job to restock the roster with younger and cheaper talent as he continues to build a winning culture in Minnesota through the draft.
Much like our foes to the east, Spielman believes the way to building a Super Bowl caliber team is done via the draft. So with the first overall selection on the horizon, the Vikings are anxious to get to work!
The Vikes have made several moves since myself and Frank first started talking about the NFL draft back in late-February. Frank's initial thoughts from then seem to be holding strong, while I've taken things in a new, different direction.
Should they go wide receiver? Take the best player available, or trade down and amass more picks?
