MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — No matter where Kevin Love goes on vacation this summer, Timberwolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders says he expects the All-Star will be playing in Minnesota next season.

Saunders spoke to reporters after a workout of draft prospects on Sunday. It was also a day after pictures surfaced of Love spending time in Boston, which touched off speculation that he was scouting out the town in case he was traded there this summer.

The Celtics are one of a number of teams that figure to have interest in Love, who can opt out of his contract after next season. But Saunders says he "expects Kevin Love will be playing for us next year" and joked that he doesn't "dictate where guys go on vacation."
