Floyd of Rosedale and Little Brown Jug are Coming to Rochester
An upcoming performance by the University of Minnesota Marching Band in Rochester will also feature some famous collegiate sports trophies.
Mayor Ardell Brede has received confirmation that “Floyd of Rosedale” and the “Little Brown Jug” will accompany the U of M Band to Rochester on Tuesday. Mayor Brede is unsure of the exact itinerary, but he is confident the celebrated trophies will be on display for viewing by the general public Tuesday evening at the Mayo Civic Center.

The Gopher football team brought "Floyd" back to Minnesota by beating Iowa on November 8th, while the jug was claimed from Michigan in late September.
The event is free, but tickets are required for admission and can be obtained at any Rochester Associated Bank locations.
