As the Minnesota Vikings get set to kick-off the 2015 NFL season, how much would you guess the team is worth? Well, a new survey of NFL teams by Forbes magazine says it's about $1.6 billion.

Now while that number sounds pretty good to you and me, it actually puts the Vikings in the lower half of the NFL, according to team value, coming in at #18 out of 32. For comparison, the Cowboys are ranked first, with a valuation of $4 billion. (Not a bad value, when you consider Jerry Jones bought the team for a paltry $140 million back in 1989.)

Forbes says the rest of the top 10 ranked NFL teams, according to value, are: the Patriots, the Redskins, the Giants, the 49ers, the Jets, the Texans, the Bears, the Eagles and the Packers.
