Home foreclosure activity in Minnesota dropped dramatically in February. The latest statistics compiled by the firm RealtyTrac show there were fewer than 1000 foreclosure related filings throughout the state last month. The total was 954, which was down 36-percent from January and almost 40-percent when compared to February of last year. Nationwide, the number of foreclosure-related filings declined to the lowest level since December 2006.
