Four are dead, four more injured in a two car crash Friday night near Sleepy Eye Minnesota.  According to the State Patrol report, it occured around 8:20 on icy highway 14 in Brown County. A car driven by 19 year old Kansas Adams of Sleepy Eye lost control as it entered a curve and was hit broadside by a pickup truck driven by 43 year old Douglas Wiborg of New Ulm.  Adams was the lone survivor in his vehicle, suffering serious injuries, his four passengers died.  They are 18 year old John D. Mangen of Fairfax, 17 year old Caleb B. Quesenberry of St. Peter, 17 year old Payton R. Adams of Sleepy Eye and 20 year old Tyler S. Hadley of Sleepy Eye.  Wiborg and his two young children were treated with non-life threatening injuries.

Sleepy Eye Ambulance, Fire and Rescue, Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s officers assisted.  More information from the State Patrol will be released later
