Honkers Double-Header & Fireworks Tonight

The great Chicago Cubs legend Ernie Banks loved baseball so much that he coined the famous quote "Let's play two" in reference to playing a double-header. The Rochester Honkers will play two tonight as they host the Mankato MoonDogs at Mayo Field. A Fireworks Extravaganza will follow the second game.

The Honkers are 5-2 on the season, just a game behind Waterloo in the North Division standings. Mankato is 3-5 and are 3.5 games back. The two teams were supposed to open the season at Mayo Field on May 26th but that game was rained out and rescheduled as part of a double-header tonight. Both games will be 7 innings. Game one will begin at 5:05pm with gates opening up at 4pm.

Schedule of Events:

4:00pm Gates open to the Public (Deck/Patio not Open!)
5:05pm Game 1 starts (7 Innings)
6:00pm Sports Deck and Grand Slam Patio Opens

Game 2 (7 Innings) will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1

The Fireworks Extravaganza will follow the second game.
