Thanksgiving Weekend
The weekend of Nov. 27th is a rare one game weekend for the Ice Hawks. The high flying Hawks lead the league with a 19-1 record going into the holiday season. It is the best start of a season by an Ice Hawks team.

Friday, Nov. 28st   Ironwood Fighting Yoopers (8th Place, 1-23).  The Ice Hawks have defeated the Yoopers in their four previous games.  The first year expansion Yoopers are in the midst of a tough season.  However, they play hard and are expected to improve as the season goes into its second half.  Yoopers players to watch:  Leading scorer Conner O’ Doherty, P.J Nelson and goalies Ted Bunton and Robert Drake.
Player News-

Trevor Sabo (one of the league’s leading scorers) is not likely to play this due to a leg injury.   Forward Justin Dungey who last played in the Ice Hawks home opener on 9/27 is expected to rejoin the team for the New Year’s Eve game.
