Is The Rochester Gander Mountain Store Actually Closing?
For this one, you really want to keep your eyes on Marcus Lemonis’ Twitter account.
Ever since Marcus Lemonis vowed to save anywhere from 70-75 Gander Mountain stores, we’ve all been waiting to see if the Rochester store would be added to that list.
As of this writing, only three Minnesota stores are on his radar as far staying open; Lakeville, Forest Lake, and one store in the Duluth area.

He’s been proactive since this undertaking, updating the public on every decision he makes. I’d recommend staying on his Twitter account, because that’s probably where you’ll hear any news about the Rochester store – good or bad.
Most people in the area believe that it’s okay if Gander Mountain remains closed. According to those I’ve talked to, Scheels seems to be taking over when it comes to serving the public with outdoor and family excursion needs.
In the event that the Rochester Gander Mountain store remains closed, there’s totally a sale you need to check out! This was plastered on their website. Hurry in soon!
Will you be sad to see the Rochester Gander Mountain store close?
