You won't find any baseball woes in this episode!

But seriously, the Twins STINK!  OK, I'm done... for now.

Well for the second year in a row, the Rookie of the Year is on OUR team.  The Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns was unanimously voted the NBA's ROTY on Monday, which should surprise absolutely nobody.

In fact, Frank and I called it over a month ago that he would win the award.  You can listen to that below:

The T-Wolves center averaged 18.1 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks and even helped the Wolves win 13 more games than they did the previous season.

Staying on the positive side of things, Maya Moore had a strong outing in the Lynx first game of the year.  Having bounced back from an ugly loss in Rochester in their pre-season finally, the Lynx are looking to chase down a 4th WNBA Championship.  There's no doubt with a strong core of players consisting of Moore, Lindsay Whalen and Sylvia Fowles that they'd love to continue being top dog in the league until proven otherwise.

Moore said as much in an interview we had with her before that game, which you can listen to HERE.

Then finally, there's the news of the University of Minnesota (finally) hiring their new Athletic Director Mark Coyle.  Having worked at the U of M before, he's knows the culture and would like to bring his sense of direction to a program that's been dragged through the proverbial mud the past 9 months since the firing of previous A.D. Norwood Teague.

So here we go: The 'Two-Minute Drill' guys talk about all the above and more regarding the big recent area sports news!
