No surprise here!

The reigning WNBA Champions are off to a great start this season, and Maya Moore is one giant reason why.

Moore is averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game during the Lynx 6-0 start.  She's also shot 54.4 percent from the field and 87 percent from the free-throw line.  That's incredible.

She has been, without a doubt, the most dominant player in the West.  But winning awards is nothing new to Moore, as this is the seventh in her career.  It’s also the 10th time a Lynx player has earned the award.

Last month we had the opportunity to talk to Maya before the Lynx had their final exhibition game against the Mystics at the Mayo Civic Center.  You can listen to that interview below:

The Lynx try to make it 7-0 this Saturday, as they host the Dallas Wings at 7 p.m. at Target Center.
