The Minnesota Department of Health has downgraded its rating of overall flu activity in the state from regional to localized. The department’s weekly flu update shows there were fewer than 50 reports of people hospitalized with influenza related complications last week. That’s the lowest that number has been since the week before Christmas. The report also shows only one school in the state reported a probable outbreak last week and there were no reports of outbreaks in nursing homes.
