DELANO, Minn. (AP) — Authorities in central Minnesota are looking for whoever burglarized a widow's home while she was attending her husband's funeral.

Anne Crowley of Delano arrived home with her children from the parish cemetery to find her house had been burglarized.

Crowley's husband of 27 years, 50-year-old Steven Crowley, died in a highway crash. His funeral was held Wednesday in Delano, and he was buried that afternoon.

The Wright County sheriff's office says the crime happened sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. Authorities twice checked on the house at the family's request during that time, but didn't see anything suspicious.

Sheriff's Lt. Greg Findley tells the Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/1ng0krF) the daylight break-in was obviously timed to coincide with the funeral.
