MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Maya Moore scored 33 points, and Seimone Augustus tied it with 2.3 seconds left in regulation in the Minnesota Lynx's 90-87 overtime victory over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday.

Lindsay Whalen scored Minnesota's last eight points to help the defending champion Lynx improve to 2-0. They opened the season Friday night with a victory in Washington.

Rookie Chiney Ogwumike led Connecticut with 25 points. The Sun led by 16 points in the third quarter before Moore keyed a furious rally. Katie Douglas added 13 points for Connecticut.

Augustus finished with 18 points, and Whalen had 17 after being held to seven in regulation.

The Lynx had 24 turnovers.
