Parts of southeast Minnesota received several inches of snow overnight,forcing Rochester and numerous other school districts to open late this morning because of difficult driving conditions.  The Rochester airport received more than 4 inches and a report from Stewartville indicates 8 inches fell there.  Reports

from the Austin area are in the 10 - 11 ½ inch range.  Rose Creek led the way with 12 inches.  Rochester has received nearly 2 feet of snow since February 15th.  Some of the snow may be melting next week as warmer air is expected to move into the region.
