Indianapolis - Minnesota State will make its fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division II tournament and seventh in last eight years after garnering the central region's top-seed when the tournament field was announced Monday evening.

The Mavericks will host the first and second rounds while receiving a first-round bye virtue of their top-seed in the region. The Mavericks own an unblemished record of 21-0-0 and won their third-straight NSIC Regular Season Title and second-straight NSIC/US Bank Tournament crown this season.

Fourth-seeded Southwest Baptist (MIAA) will battle fifth-seeded Winona State on Friday in the first round at 1 p.m. The Warriors earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after posting a 15-5-1 overall record this season. WSU is making its second consecutive appearance in NCAA postseason play and its sixth in program history. MSU will battle the winner of that game on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be played in Mankato, Minn. at The Pitch.

On the other side of the bracket, third-seeded Augustana makes its second appearance in the NCAA tournament, and first since 2008, when they take on sixth-seeded Central Oklahoma on Friday at 1 p.m. in Warrensburg, Mo. The winner will take on second seeded Central Missouri on Sunday at 12 p.m. from the South Recreation Complex.
