KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Australian officials say two large objects in the Indian Ocean that were picked up by satellite could be from the Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared March 8. But they say they won't know until they get a better look.

Four military search planes are headed to the area that's more than 1,500 miles southwest of Perth, Australia. But maritime officials say poor visibility may hamper efforts to find those objects.

The larger of the objects measured up to 79 ft, long and appeared to be floating on water several thousand meter

s deep, they said. The second object was about 16 feet long.

Officials cautioned it could take several days to confirm if they were parts of the missing plane.
