Last Friday, snow fell across southern Minnesota.  Today, very warm and windy conditions

are expected and even though snow is still on the ground in some areas, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning.  This means ideal wildfire conditions will be present due to the combination of strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures.  Upper 70’s and low 80’s are expected today in southwest Minnesota and upper 60’s to low 70’s are in the forecast for the southeastern corner of the state.
