Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Police Department has scheduled a meeting to release information about a sex offender who plans to move into a northwest neighborhood.

The RPD says 29-year-old Joshua Winsky has indicated he will be returning to the 4200 block of 22nd Avenue NW on Oct. 1.

The community notification meeting is being held because Winsky has been classified a Level 3 sex offender, the highest ranking. He was sentenced to prison in 2010 for a 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct conviction.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday (Sept 25) at 6 pm at the North Police Station at 4001 West River Parkway NW. Representatives from the Department of Corrections and the Rochester Police Department will be available to provide information on public safety.
