(Rochester, Minn.) -- The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today that local product Logan Spitzack, from West Concord, Minnesota and a junior at St. Cloud State will return for his third season with the Honkers.

Spitzack is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound right-handed pitcher whose 2014 Honkers season was cut short in mid-July due to an arm injury.  He made 10 appearances on the summer, starting six and making 4 relief appearances.  Spitzack posted a 3-2 record, with a 3.42 ERA.  In 44.2 innings of work, Spitzack struck out 19 and walked 13.

As a sophomore at St. Cloud State, Spitzack was 3-1 with a 3.71 ERA.  In his eight total appearances, six of which were starts, Spitzack tallied 34.0 innings, striking out 20 and walking only eight.

A 2011 graduate of Triton High School, Spitzack was a three-sport athlete gaining accolades in football, basketball and baseball.  He currently holds a school record for points in a game for basketball and posted the lowest ERA for his baseball team.
