Torchetti took over as the team's interim coach last Saturday and his team has played three games in Canada and an outdoor game in Minneapolis. All four contests resulted in victories.

Tonight, Torchetti's club will host the New York Islanders at the Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota has reeled off four straight wins on the heels of an eight-game losing streak. The Wild moved to 27-22-and-10 on the season with Sunday's 6-1 rout of Chicago at TCF Bank Stadium.

It's the second of a seven-game road trip for New York, which opened the swing with a 1-0 win at New Jersey on Friday. The Isles have won five of their last seven and are third in the Metropolitan Division with 69 points. Tonight's game is set for 7 PM.
