Edmonton, Alberta (Learfield) -- Minnesota captain Mikko Koivu scored a goal 3:11 into overtime to give the Wild a 2-1 win over the Oilers in Edmonton last night.

Charlie Coyle scored late in the first for Minnesota, which put the brakes on a three-game skid. Devan Dubnyk denied 28 shots in the victory. Patrick Maroon lit the lamp in the first for the Oilers, who had won their previous two.

Jonas Gustavsson made 31 saves in defeat.
