The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says there were at least a dozen traffic fatalities on state roads during the 10-day period that began February 28th. 7 of the victims were young men or teenage boys who were killed in two separate crashes that occurred on the final day in February and last Friday. Since the beginning of the year, Minnesota has recorded 51 traffic-related deaths. That’s two higher than the total through March 11th of last year, but it’s down nine when compared to 2012.
