Rochester will host the annual event at Foster Arend Park Saturday with a high temperature forecasted at just nine degrees. That won’t stop the 600+ plungers ready to take the leap and raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota.

It is the 21st year of the Polar Plunge, and this year the goal is to raise $250,000. So far, $151,781 has been raised. The Rochester Polar Plunge has raised over $3,397,739 in its 20-year history and last year, 463 Plungers raised $178,219.

The Plunge will start at Noon. You can donate to the Polar Plunge or register to take the plunge here.
