3-Years In Prison For Attempted Robbery
A Rochester man has been sentenced to 3-years in prison for a botched armed robbery last July. 27-year-old Cordale Clark earlier pleaded guilty to a simple robbery charge for confronting a homeowner in his northeast Rochester garage and attempting to rob him at gunpoint.
Clark fled on foot after the victim knocked the gun out of his hand. Police were able to ID him as the robber because he left behind a broken necklace with his name and date of birth engraved on it. Clark also pleaded guilty in an unrelated drug case and was given a prison sentence that he will serve concurrently with his sentence for the attempted robbery.
