across $10 million in rare, mint-condition gold coins buried in the shadow of an old tree on their property.

One coin expert says the 1,427 coins date from 1847 to 1894. The husband and wife don't want to be identified because they don't want a mad rush onto their property.

But they live on rural property in California's gold Country, and they say they have no idea who put the coins there.
