Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two of the three suspects in a Rochester man’s murder have now entered not guilty pleas.

20-year-old Darian Klindworth-Woods today entered not guilty pleas to two counts of second-degree murder stemming from the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt at his home in a southeast Rochester mobile home park last September. The plea hearing held today in Olmsted County Court had been held up several times due to evidentiary challenges. The North Mankato man has now requested a speedy trial, which requires the courts to schedule the proceedings within the next 60 days.

Two of his cousins, 27-year-old Malcolm Woods and 34-year-old Keilah Parsons, are also charged in the case. Woods is accused of actually shooting Arndt and was recently indicted on a first-degree murder charge. He is due to make his next court appearance in mid-May. Parsons faces second-degree murder charges and is currently scheduled to stand trial next February.
