St. Paul, MN (Learfield)  --   Minnesota extended its season-best win streak to eight games, second longest in franchise history, with a 2-0 shutout victory against Colorado on Tuesday night in front of a sellout crowd of 19,018 at Xcel Energy Center.

Charlie Coyle and Mikko Koivu each scored for the Wild as Devan Dubnyk made all 18 saves for his league leading fifth shutout of the season.

Next up, Minnesota travels for a two-game road trip before the holiday break, beginning with the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
