Are you kidding?

The Rochester area may experience its warmest day since November 30th today as temperatures are expected to climb into the low 40’s. Even though the high temperature in Rochester yesterday was only 30 degrees it was enough to mark the first time this month the average daily reading was above normal. The snow measured at the airport was 3.6 inches, a new record for the date. Another snow record may be set Thursday. The National Weather Service says an approaching storm

could produce significant snow in some parts of southeast Minnesota Thursday, including Rochester. The agency has already issued a blizzard watch for most of the area that will take effect Thursday morning.
