Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - A Byron man suffered broken teeth and facial injuries after being assaulted in his residence.

Olmsted County deputies were called to the victim’s home around 8:30 Friday evening.

The 25-year-old man told the deputies two men came to his house demanding money they said he owed them. The man refused to give the men any money, saying he had already paid them. The victim said the two men then began hitting his face and head with pipe-like devices.

A neighbor who witnessed the assault broke it up. When the men left, the victim called 911. He was taken by ambulance to St Marys Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

As of Monday morning, the two Rochester men the victim said attacked him were still being sought.
