Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is Back in Person with 3 SE Minnesota Stops
You read that right, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is back in person this year for the first time since COVID! I know it's mid-October, but this is too exciting not to share. Plus, they have three stops in southeast Minnesota.
I can't believe that it's been two years since the last time we could see the Holiday Train in person. They went virtual for two years but not for 2022. I've never been to see the train but I'm thinking about checking it out this year.
Also, the Holiday Train brings singers along with them to celebrate the holiday season. Some of this year the performers include Tenille Townes, Alan Doyle, Lindsay Ell, and Mackenzie Porter.

The question you're probably asking is where the heck can see the Holiday Train in SE MN?
There are a total of 3 stops in our neck of the woods. Stop number one in our area is La Crescent. The train will be there on Wednesday, December 7th arriving at 8:15 PM, the event begins at 8:30 PM, and departs at 9 PM. It will be at The Commadore Food & Spirit parking lot, 215 South Chestnut Street.
Stop number two is in Winona on Sunday, December 11th. The train will arrive at 3:30 PM, the event begins at 3:45 PM, and departs at 4:15 PM. It'll be at the Amtrak Station, 65 East Mark Street.
And finally, stop number three is in Wabasha also on Sunday, December 11th. The train will arrive at 5:30 PM, the event begins at 5:45 PM, and the train departs at 6:15 PM. The address for that one is Gambie Avenue railway crossing by Bruegger Park.
So three different options for us to see the Holiday Train this year. I've already got it marked on my calendar.
