A stormy forecast has prompted the Minnesota State High School League to postpone today’s championship games in the State High School Baseball Tournament until Monday at Target Field.

In the semi-finals on Friday, Chatfield was edged 6-5 by New York Mills, which will face New Life Academy of Woodbury in the Class A title game. Chatfield went on to win third-place Friday evening by beating the BOLD 12-6.

Kasson-Mantorville fell to Fairmont 19-3 in the Class 2A semi-finals and then lost to Glencoe-Silver Lake 12-4 in the Third Place game. Fairmont will play St. Cloud Cathedral for the 2A championship on Monday.

The Class 3A championship game will feature Mounds View against Eden Prairie. Section 1 champ Lakeville South lost to Lakeville North 12-4 in the Third place game on Friday.
