Remember last week when Illinois businessman Willie Wilson gave away $200 grand in free gas at a handful of gas stations in Chicago which resulted in traffic congestion all over the city? Well, he's doing it again this Thursday, March 23, but this time Willie is giving away $1 MILLION worth of gas at FIFTY different gas stations throughout Cook County!

Where to Get Free Gas in Illinois on March 23, 2022

ABC 7 in Chicago says this week's free gas giveaway will work the same as the one on March 17 did; beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2022, drivers will be able to get $50 in free gas at 50 different gas stations throughout Cook County until the entire $1 million has been exhausted. All participating gas stations will be lowering their prices by about 25% so drivers can get more bang for Willie's buck during the giveaway too.

If you're planning on taking advantage of $50 in free gas this Thursday, please be aware that drivers began lining up overnight last week, and traffic was a mess in the area of each participating gas station location. If you're going, please make sure you leave your frustrations at home, and you might want to make plans now for a fun overnight stay in your car Wednesday night.
