Do you want to experience wilderness but are not the least bit interested in really roughing it? Want to be under the stars and in a king-size bed. Here's your spot.

What Does It Mean to be 'Roughing It'

I wasn't raised by outdoorsy parents who camped and spent time in the wilderness. I do love a good hike and a forest, I also enjoy a good day spent on a lake or river and I have always loved sitting around a fire, but I need a nice hotel or rental at the end of these trips.

My idea of roughing it is when the hotel's pool is outdoor.

That was always my motto. I've changed a bit over the years, but still need some modern conveniences and coverage when off the beaten path.
