Duluth, MN (KROC AM News) - A 14-year-old Duluth boy was held in custody over the weekend as the suspect in the death of a family member.
Duluth police say the teenager is expected to face a 2nd-degree murder charge that could be filed Monday.
Officers were called to the family’s residence around 6:45 pm Friday to check a reported assault. According to the Duluth Police Dept, officers “determined there was no assault and cleared the scene but later returned in response to a medical call.” That’s when they found a 19-year-old female family member who was unresponsive.
Police haven’t said how she suffered the fatal injuries.
