Early Direct Voting Begins Tuesday at Two Locations in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Absentee direct balloting for the November 8th election begins tomorrow in Olmsted County.
Early direct balloting allows in-person voters to insert their ballots directly into the ballot tabulator at the early voting election site. Voters also retain the option of placing their absentee ballot into an envelope and having it counted on the night of the election.
Direct in-person voting will be available through November 7 at the Olmsted County Elections Office on the county campus near the federal prison on the east edge of Rochester. Early direct in-person voting will also be offered at the Government Center in downtown Rochester, where free parking will be available to voters in specially marked spaces.
The early election offices will be open from 8 AM until 5 PM tomorrow through Friday, from 10 AM until 3 PM on Saturday, and from 8 AM to 5 PM next Monday.
