Edina, MN (KROC-AM News) - Police in Edina are seeking help from the public in locating the vehicle and driver involved in an apparent hit and run that injured a child boarding a school bus.

Officials say the incident occurred at about 8:10 this morning while the bus had it's warning lights activated and stop arm extended. The bus had stopped in the southbound lane of France Avenue when the car passed it to the right. The State Patrol has indicated the student suffered serious injuries.

Edina Police say the hit and run vehicle is believed to be a dark color, possibly black, Chevy Malibu or Cruze.
