Minnesota Man, Woman Killed in Two Separate Crashes Sunday
(KROC-AM News) - Two people were killed in two separate crashes Sunday, and both crashes involved an occupant that was not wearing a seat belt.
One Killed, One Injured in Twin Cities Area Wreck
One passenger was killed in a crash in the Twin Cities area Sunday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a vehicle traveling east on Scott County Road 8 failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 13 and collided with a vehicle that was traveling north on the highway just after 12:30 pm.
A 47-year-old female passenger in the eastbound vehicle was killed in the crash. She was identified as Tuy Srey of Savage, Minnesota. The State Patrol report indicates she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Another passenger in the same vehicle was injured. 22-year-old Seang Hoing, also of Savage, was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, two other passengers in the eastbound vehicle, along with the driver of the northbound vehicle were not injured.
One Killed in Single-Car Crash in Cass County
A Becker man was killed in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in Cass County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that 55-year-old Jack Dailey was driving a vehicle south on Highway 64 near 20th Street SW when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 3:45 am.
Dailey was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Patrol report indicated that he was not wearing a seat belt.
