No More Coffee At Popular Shop in Downtown Rochester
One thing we know is true about Rochester, Minnesota - we have a lot of banks and a whole lot of coffee shops. Unfortunately, one of the favorites just updated the community with some sad news.
Favorite Coffee Shop In Rochester, Minnesota Has Closed One Of Its Locations
Just the other day, I met up with a friend in downtown Rochester for a cup of coffee at Fiddlehead's Flats on 4th location. That was her first time enjoying this space and unfortunately, it will also be her last.
According to a note posted on Fiddlehead Coffee Co.'s Facebook page, this location is closed.
Owner Sarah here with a bittersweet update! It's been a whirlwind month at Fiddlehead! In exciting news, we've outgrown our little green roaster at our Flats on 4th location, which is wonderful for our business but not for our hearts as it means that we need to close down our Flats on 4th location. We will be forever grateful for all the opportunities that came out of our first shop - all the dear relationships, the parties, the crazy fun dinners, the live music, the bar nights.... It's torture to say goodbye to the beautiful shop that launched us into being.
We cannot thank you all enough for all the memories and support over these crazy 5 years and we're so excited to keep serving you at all our other locations. The move to a new roastery facility will give us so many more opportunities, including being certified organic and soon to hit shelves at your local grocery stores! Being able to serve so many more people delicious shade-grown coffee, saving even more of our precious rainforest globally, is our dream come true but the growing pains are not the easiest we know. Thanks for being here for the ride alongside us. We truly couldn't do this without you. Stay tuned for so many more fun things coming soon!
From the latest news, it looks like the expansion for Fiddlehead is a good thing. When I learn more about the "fun things coming soon" or what ends up in this space, I'll share those details over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio. Give it a follow if you haven't already.
