One Last ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Trailer In Case You Missed All the Others
At this point it feels like we've seen pretty much all of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' with all the trailers, clips, previews, sneak peeks and photos released from the film. But, if you're still not sure if you want to see it in theaters, there's yet another 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' trailer - the final trailer! - here for your viewing enjoyment.
Surprisingly, considering all we've seen so far, there's actually new footage in this trailer. Nothing earth-shattering really, but we do get some extended looks at the battles between Spidey and Electro. And Spidey and Green Goblin. And Spidey and Rhino... You at least get the sense from the trailer that Electro and Green Goblin are working together to take down Spider-Man. Not entirely shocking considering Electro is an OsCorp creation.
We don't get any clearer a read on Gwen Stacy's fate, but considering she's inside that clock tower with Spider-Man and Goblin as they're battling, we're gonna guess it'll end as it does in the comics. Or, maybe director Marc Webb is trying to fake us out?
From Sony's official logline:
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' will be released in theaters on May 2, but OsCorp will surely cause even more trouble even farther down the road as all signs point to the announced 'Sinister Six' movie, which will team up some of Spidey's most evil adversaries. Sony also already announced development on 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' (June 10, 2016), 'The Amazing Spider-Man 4' (May 4, 2018) and 'Venom' movie.
