MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The National Weather Service says it has received a report of a tornado sighting in western Minnesota.

Meteorologist Lisa Schmit says a tornado was spotted in Yellow Medicine County and two reports of damage have come in from law enforcement officers working southeast of St. Leo.

Schmit says she has few details but was told it was structural damage, with no people injured.

St. Leo is about three hours west of Minneapolis.

There were also reports of large hail in west-central Minnesota Monday afternoon.
