Four Minnesota Lynx Players Named to Olympic Team

Olympic Fever has officially started! The Olympic Torch Lighting Ceremony for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games went down on April 21, 2016 in Olympia, Greece and just the other day it was announced that four players from the Minnesota Lynx were named to the U.S. Women's Basketball team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janiero, Brazil.

Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles, Maya Moore, and Lindsay Whalen were among the 12 players named to the final roster. This is the fifth consecutive Olympic year that the Lynx have been represented on the final roster! The Olympics will take place August 5th through 21st this summer and I'm sure these girls will all make Minnesota proud.
