Nearly all of Minnesota will be under a winter storm watch

tomorrow night into Friday as another strong storm system is expected to move into the state. It appears the heaviest snow will fall in an area from Mankato, through the Twin Cities and into Wisconsin. A few inches of snow could fall in parts of southeast Minnesota. The National Weather Service says there will also be a threat of freezing rain and sleet. A dry weekend is expected along with below normal temps.

The Weather Service says the current model calls for the cold weather pattern that began in late November to continue through most of April.
