The Rochester Honkers Northwoods League baseball season will be getting going soon. Games will start at the end of May!

The team announced a couple local players who will be with the team early on. Jordan Hart from Lyle and Johnathan Fleek from Albert Lea. Both have signed temporary contracts with the club.

According to the Honkers, Hart is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound sophomore outfielder from Minnesota State Mankato. He's hitting just under .400 so far this spring for the Mavericks. He leads the team in RBIs (16), doubles (6), and is second in home runs with two.

Fleek is a 5-foot-7, 165-pound junior infielder from Western Illinois. He is currently leading the Fighting Leathernecks with his .349 batting average.
