Carjacking On Illinois Highway Is Straight Out Of Action Movie
This carjacking on a busy Illinois tollway is the perfect example of when an action movie becomes a reality.
Crime Has Gotten Really Bad In Illinois
I know it's not new, but I still feel like I should mention it. Crime has gotten really bad in Illinois. There are no signs of it getting any better anytime soon. It's not just one area, it's all over the state. Plus, criminals have gotten a lot braver.
Action Movies Aren't Reality Or Are They?
Like many people, I'm a huge fan of action movies. I think the big draw is they aren't real life. The things that happen in the storylines are fictional. No one in their right mind would actually try it or would they?
Let me set the scene for you. There's a police chase. The bad guy ends up on a highway and traffic stops him. The suspect gets out and starts running. Down the road, he steals another car and is able to escape. Could that really happen? The answer is yes and in Illinois.
