According to the website restaurantclicks.com, the most expensive restaurant in Illinois, and one of the 11 most expensive restaurants in the US is called Alinea. Alinea is located on the north side of Chicago, so what is so unique about Alinea, on the site they say...

Yes... you read that right... you need to have a party of 6 people, you have to book in advance and it will be a starting price of $475 per person... I couldn't believe that when I read it so I went to the website for Alinea and it confirmed it was true.

On the site for Alinea, you have to book a reservation between 3 seating options, the highest being the Kitchen Table where you need 6 people, the second highest option is called The Salon which can seat parties of 1 to 6, and that will cost you between $305 and $375 per person to start.
